Description

HorseThera™ 8 Heads Red Light Massage Gun is an equine-specific red light massage gun designed to help reduce muscle tension, improve recovery, and support long-term mobility — safely, quietly, and comfortably.

Unlike standard human massage guns, HorseThera combines dual-wavelength red + near-infrared light therapy (660nm + 850nm) with an 8-head percussion system engineered for large equine muscle groups.

This allows you to deliver fast, even treatment across the back, shoulders, hindquarters, and glutes in just 10–15 minutes.

It's lightweight, cordless, whisper-quiet, and built specifically for horses — so even sensitive or nervous horses accept it quickly.

How to Use (It's Easier Than You Think)

1. Identify Target Areas

Focus on large muscle groups: shoulders, back, hindquarters, glutes. Avoid joints, bones, or directly over the spine.

2. Turn On & Select Mode

Choose your intensity level. Start low for nervous horses, increase for deep-tissue work. Red light activates automatically.

3. Massage 10-15 Min Per Area

Move slowly in circular or back-and-forth motions. Your horse will lean in when you hit the right spots.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to use on my horse?

Yes. it is designed specifically for equine use, with adjustable intensity levels and built-in safety features. It should be used on large muscle areas such as the shoulders, back, and hindquarters. Avoid joints, bony areas, and open wounds. If your horse has a specific medical condition, we recommend checking with your veterinarian before use.

How do I know if my horse is enjoying the massage or wants me to stop?

Horses are very clear with their feedback. Signs they're enjoying it include lowering their head, softening through the body, licking or chewing, leaning into the pressure, or standing still. If they step away, pin their ears, tense up, or seem uncomfortable, simply lower the intensity or move to another area. Let your horse guide the session.

How do I use the different massage heads, and where on the body should I avoid?

Each massage head is designed for different muscle areas. Softer or wider heads work well on larger muscle groups, while more focused heads can be used carefully on denser muscle areas. Always use the device on large muscles such as the shoulders, back, and hindquarters. Avoid joints, the spine directly, lower legs, and bony areas.

How long should a session last for a single area?

Spend about 2-5 minutes per muscle group. A full session typically lasts between 10-20 minutes depending on your horse's size and comfort level. Short, consistent sessions tend to be more effective than occasional long ones.

Can I use it every day, or is that too much?

Yes, it can be used daily as part of a regular care routine. Many owners use it 3-5 times per week, while horses in heavier work may benefit from gentle daily sessions. Always observe your horse's response and adjust intensity and duration accordingly.

Can I use this on a horse with existing health issues or injuries?

The HorseThera massage gun is designed as a wellness tool to support comfort and relaxation. It is not a medical device and does not replace veterinary care. If your horse has an injury, ongoing condition, or is under veterinary treatment, consult your veterinarian before use.

My horse is sensitive or spooky. How can I introduce it without scaring them?

Start by letting your horse see and smell the device while it is turned off. Turn it on at the lowest setting and begin in an area they already enjoy being scratched, such as the shoulder or withers. Keep sessions short at first and gradually increase as your horse becomes comfortable. The quiet motor and adjustable intensity help make introductions smooth.

What kind of benefits can I reasonably expect for my horse?

Most owners report their horses appearing more relaxed, softer through the body, and more comfortable during and after sessions. It's designed to support everyday muscle comfort and help create a calm pre- or post-ride routine.

Is it suitable for older horses or horses in light work?

Yes. It can be used on horses of all ages and activity levels. Many owners of older horses use it to support daily comfort, while riders of younger or lightly worked horses use it as part of regular care and bonding routines.

Do I need any training or experience to use it correctly?

No professional training is required. The device is built for everyday horse owners and includes a simple guide showing recommended muscle areas and usage tips. Start on low intensity and let your horse's response guide you.

Can I use it on myself or other animals as well?

The device is designed specifically for horses due to their muscle size and tolerance. While some owners use it for personal muscle comfort, it is optimized for equine use. For other animals, consult a veterinarian before use.

What is your return or trial period if it doesn't suit my horse?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied or your horse doesn't respond well, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund according to our return policy.

How loud is it, and what does it feel like for the horse?

The motor runs quietly and is designed to be suitable for barn environments. It delivers rhythmic, adjustable percussion combined with gentle warmth from the red light. Most horses quickly relax once they feel the steady pressure and soothing sensation.

Absolutely incredible. My mare used to be so tight in her shoulders, but after just two weeks of using this, her stride has completely opened up. Worth every penny!

I was skeptical at first because most massage guns terrify my gelding. The motor on this is so quiet, he actually falls asleep while I use it on his hindquarters.
